Clare believes that small business owners drive our economy and that in order to grow their businesses, owners deserve the best advice. She concentrates on ensuring her clients get all the financial information and support they need to stay confidently in control of their businesses. She’s an expert on assisting Charities, where her extensive experience of the good and the not-so-good means she can give some very practical advice. She starts each day by striding across the moors with her dogs. She shares the dogs and three children with her husband Ged.
Ged’s main focus is to ensure that we and our clients have access to the most time-saving and efficient means of producing useful management information to assist our clients to grow. He has extensive experience of successfully implementing Xero and Quickbooks in a range of sectors. Ged now concentrates on using his detailed knowledge of his clients’ businesses to help them achieve their commercial and personal goals. In the spare time Ged saves by using modern technology, he plays five-a-side football, a poor game of golf and drinks real ale.
Angela qualified as a Chartered Accountant after studying at home whilst bringing up her two children, which demonstrates her ability and commitment to her role. She is especially knowledgeable about the accounting challenges in the construction industry where her talent for giving sound and practical advice to our clients is valued by them. She loves to work at clients premises preparing management accounts for our clients and helping directors use the numbers to grow their businesses. A keen traveller, she is slowly working her way around the world.
Chartered Certified Accountant
Lindsey is a qualified Certified Accountant with years of experience of making sense of our clients’ accounts. She has developed longstanding and strong working relationships with our clients. She’s a real fan of the time-saving efficiencies of the digital technologies we use. As a mum to two young children, she is excellent at multi-tasking and her organisational skills are exceptional, so she’s the one who keeps our deadlines in check.
Business Development Manager
Bec has been part of the team for some time and she has built some fantastic relationships with our clients and professional contacts. Giving a great service is high on her list of priorities and speaking of lists, you’ll rarely find her without one, as she organises our events, networking groups and seminars. Bec loves Xero (she’s seen how much time it can save) and has recently become our Xero Champion, so if you have any questions about Xero or the useful add-ons that work well with it, she’s on the end of a phone waiting to help.
Julie heads up our payroll bureau and manages CIS and Auto-enrolment submissions for clients in Wigan and Bolton. She loves helping clients with payroll when they’ve struggled with it themselves and is always happy to advise on the ever-changing demands of HMRC. In her spare time, Julie follows Wigan Rugby League and has recently acquired a puppy to accompany her as she goes on long walks.
Hannah has a degree in Accounting and Finance, is AAT qualified and is now studying for her ACCA qualification. She especially enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of assisting our clients with their accounting systems and loves helping those of our clients who really hate keeping their accounting records up to date. In her spare time, Hannah goes to the gym and loves exercising, which she finds therapeutic.
Margaret likes to be challenged in her role assisting clients with accounts, VAT and tax returns and with her long experience, she can usually resolve any problems our clients might be having especially with book-keeping. She loves using Xero, especially the way she can see what our clients are seeing at the same time. In her spare time, she follows F1 motorsports, falls off stunt scooters and goes out with her children on quad bikes!
Kirsty made a brave career move and joined us as a part-qualified Accounts Technician, but with no practical experience. We have been pleased to provide the experience she needed and she now has her AAT qualification behind her. Kirsty is involved in accounts, VAT and tax work for our Bolton clients. She loves to travel and visits many interesting places.
Sean has significant experience of preparing accounts and tax returns for a wide range of businesses. He is particularly good at understanding how accounting software can ensure you get the best up-to-date information about your business and he’s always in front with the latest software developments, meaning that he’s able to provide a solution to pretty much any accounting problem you might have in a simple and stress-free way. In his spare time, Sean plays computer games and is an excellent runner and run-leader.

Babar has a wealth of tax and accounting knowledge and expertise acquired from many years in the field and is a keen exponent of cloud accounting. He likes to adopt a proactive approach with his clients in order to better assist them and to help solve their problems. Babar feels he’s found his accounting “home” at HullJady as the firm’s ethos matches his own and he’s proud to be a part of the team, as we’re proud to have him with us
Brett is an enthusiastic user of cloud accounting solutions. He is both a Xero and Quickbooks certified advisor. He enjoys his role at HullJady providing bookkeeping and management accounting services to clients using both Xero and Quickbooks Online.
Matthew joined us after finishing his A Levels, looking for practical experience in all aspects of accountancy instead of studying for a degree at university. After becoming a certified advisor in Xero and QuickBooks, he wants to provide the best service in accounting and tax for his clients. Matthew enjoys playing football in his free time and is part of a weekend league football team.
Brian made quite a career change by joining us in a role assisting our clients to meet their responsibilities regarding Auto Enrolment and he’s also responsible for GDPR compliance within the firm. Prior to working with us, he worked in the legal field for more than twenty years where he developed two national teams advising on trade marks so he has plenty of experience in working out how to assist clients. He’s a proud supporter of Aston Villa.
June is our morning receptionist at Wigan and loves to make our clients and visitors feel welcome. She’s had to contend with many changes over the years and has mastered the introduction of our paperless system, filing changes at Companies House and HMRC as well as coping with the various administrative demands made of her by the rest of the team. With her family mostly living in Australia, she is an expert on overseas postage charges and face-timing.
Samantha is our administrator based in our Wigan office and came to us from a role where she had to deal with “difficult” customers, so working with our clients is a real pleasure. She’s introduced new methods to improve debt collection using a great Xero add-on, which she is happy to demonstrate to any of our clients who need to get on top of their cash control. Samantha is a new mum so she has become an instant expert on doing three things at once.
