Gallaway is a construction firm which started with two directors working from home, with the accounts being kept by Colin’s wife. The business is now growing to become a real force in its business sector, with a move to a separate office (now nearly out-grown) and more staff including a full-time bookkeeper. At the start, we prepared annual accounts for the company, but their systems became inadequate and so we’ve helped install a cloud-based software. We see the directors at least quarterly to prepare and talk about recent results and also operate the company’s payroll. We’re there to provide as much support as the book-keeper needs and it’s easy and quick to see what need s to be done because we can access Xero too.
